Meet north of the pier in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea to watch the sun rise, feel the sand beneath your feet, and soak in the saltwater if you’d like. Bring a hot beverage and any food you might want to enjoy while spending time together in the quiet beauty of the morning.
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is home to one of the only shore-accessible coral reefs in Florida, just a short swim from the beach near the pier. Bring your snorkeling gear if you’d like to explore the reef, or simply bring a towel and relax on the beach.
Arrive before 6:45 am to catch the sunrise — or after if you aren’t a super early bird. Look for the colorful group with a rainbow flag.
